What types of events do you DJ?
I DJ a wide range of events including weddings, corporate functions, product launches, awards dinners, conferences, festivals, private parties, birthdays, engagement celebrations, Christmas parties, themed events, ticketed shows….the list goes on!
What kind of music do you play?
I’m an open-format DJ, which means I can cater to virtually any crowd or theme. From Top 40, dance, house, hip hop, R&B, rock, classic hits, and singalongs to 80s, 90s, 00s, disco, funk, country, emo, and everything in between, I tailor every set to suit the event and audience.
Can guests request songs?
Absolutely! I’m happy to take requests where appropriate and work them into the set while keeping the energy and flow of the event on track.
Do you travel outside Auckland?
Yes! I’m based in Auckland but regularly perform throughout New Zealand and am available for destination events both nationally and internationally.
Do you DJ weddings?
Yes! I love Weddings and making your day memorable with the music you want to hear. From ceremony music and cocktail hour through to reception and dancing, I work closely with couples to create the perfect soundtrack for their day and can even suggest other musicians and AV as well to complete your vision.
Can you provide music for both the ceremony and reception?
Absolutely. I can provide music and audio support for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?
Yes. I can provide professional sound systems, microphones, and lighting solutions suitable for everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale events. Whatever your vision I can help.
Can you provide microphones for speeches and presentations?
Yes. Wireless and handheld microphones can be provided for speeches, MCs, presentations, panels, and ceremonies. Just let me know your requirements and I’m happy to give you a quote.
Do you work with corporate clients?
Yes. I have extensive experience performing at corporate events, conferences, awards evenings, gala dinners, networking functions, product launches, and staff celebrations.
Can you provide additional entertainment?
Definitely yes! Through my extensive network in the events industry, I can help source and coordinate additional entertainment including live musicians, saxophonists, violinist, percussionists, bands, MCs/celebrants – you name it.
How far in advance should I book?
Popular dates, particularly summer weekends and wedding season, can book out months in advance. I recommend securing your date as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
How much does it cost to hire a DJ?
Pricing varies depending on the type of event, duration, location, equipment requirements, and any additional services needed. Get in touch with your event details and I’ll provide a tailored quote.
Do you take song requests before the event?
Definitely. I encourage clients to share their must-play songs, favourite genres, and any songs they’d prefer not to hear so I can create a playlist that reflects their style and vision.
What happens if my event runs longer than planned?
Where possible, additional performance time can be arranged on the day, subject to availability. We can also discuss extension options in advance.
